We are objects of God’s mercy.

Romans 9:17, 22-24 NIV

17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”

22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction?

23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory.

24 even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

James 2:23 “For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.”

Psalm 86:5 “For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.”

Matthew 9:13 “Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for in your mercy and righteousness. For you have made me an object of your mercy, that I may show forth your glory. Merciful Father, I am grateful for your mercy even when I least deserve it.

Dear heavenly father, I thank you for making the riches of your glory known unto me even in my most terrible situation. Thank you for making me a part of your lovely family and for drawing me back when I went estranged from you. Your mercy is from generation to generation, oh Lord.

Father Lord, I ask that you will help me to make myself available for the demonstration of your glory. I ask that you will fulfil your divine purpose through me and in me. Help me to show mercy to everyone as you have been merciful unto me. Help me to be a blessing to everyone around me and to the world in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Congratulations, God’s mercy shall be your constant experience in Jesus’ name. Amen

With much love from Shine Rose.
