5 best ways to overcome the fear of the future.

1.            Know that God has a plan for your life

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Even when all your plans have failed and all resources wasted, do not forget that God has a better plan for your Life. His thoughts for you are the best. He cares for you much more than you do for yourself and by his own power, he will achieve his plans, with or without your input. The devil is using the fear of the future to stop you from keeping focused on the glory ahead. Keep your eyes on the promises of God for your life. Do you desire to know God’s plan for your life? 2. You are not alone

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love, and he will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Even though you’re in your darkest season when there are no traces of light, God is with you. When you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, he is also with you; you have nothing to fear. Even though the future may seem gloomy, yet, your help is at hand. God is an ever-present help in times of trouble. He is carrying you in the hollow of his palms, therefore, you have nothing to fear.

3. You are born to rule

“Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.” Isaiah 55:5

You are born to rule and not to be a slave. Fear makes you a slave, a coward, and a shadow of yourself. You can be all that God has created you to be if only you can trust him. You are born to be a pioneer of great works, a leader and a founder. Don’t be afraid to step out in faith. You can make it. Your dreams can become a reality.

4. He loves you

“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;

His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:21-23

5.            He will Guide you

The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Psalm 32:8

We make our own plans, but the LORD decides where we will go. Proverbs 16:9

Constantly, you must seek God’s Guidance when making everyday decisions and he will lead you aright. You don’t have to fear the future when God is leading you. Because he holds your future in His hands and he has a plan for you.
