2 Corinthians 4:7-9
Welcome to today’s episode of Women Extraordinaire Podcast. My name is Roseline Moronkola and I am your Host.
Today, let’s explore a passage from 2 Corinthians 4:7-9— a scripture that speaks powerfully to the challenges we face and the divine strength that sustains us.
Paul writes, “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”
These verses are a comforting reminder that, while we may feel fragile, like jars of clay, within us lies a treasure of incredible power. It’s not our strength but God’s that carries us. His glory shines even in our weakest moments, demonstrating that the victory is His.
Do you feel crushed and dejected? Take a deep, calm breath. The limitless power of God is there for you, to help you keep going and succeed. Remember, God has not promised that life will be free from problems, issues, or challenges. But He has promised this: He will never leave you nor forsake you. Even though you may be walking through the fiery furnace or facing the high-tide ocean waves, God is here with you right now. Remain in His loving embrace, and He will gently guide and support you through it all. You will not be destroyed.
Take heart in the knowledge that being hard-pressed on every side doesn’t mean you’re crushed. Feeling perplexed doesn’t mean you’re left in despair. Even when you feel struck down, you are not destroyed because God’s power within you cannot be defeated.
As you move through your day, cling to this promise. Let His strength sustain you in every trial, and trust that His treasure within you is more than enough.
